Women And Drones, in partnership with Drone360 Magazine and the ASCEND conference, is announcing a global search for women impacting the drone industry through achievements in technology, business, government relations, advocacy, research, journalism, education, agriculture and more is underway.

While their names may not be familiar to our readers, we’re looking for women who are forward thinking, inspirational and making a difference.

Join us in this important endeavor!

Finalists will be featured on WomenAndDrones.com and at the
ASCEND Conference & Expo, July 19 – 21, 2017 in Portland, OR.

What are the criteria?

We’re looking for a cross-section of women from all sectors of the UAV industry. — Technology, agriculture, education, consumer products, government, law, distribution, manufacturing, journalism, etc.

How do I nominate someone?

Simply fill out the nomination form and submit it no later than Monday, May 15th at 5:00 pm CST.

Who's eligible?

Any woman working in the UAV industry.

Can I nominate myself?


Can my nomination be faxed, emailed or mailed in?

No. Only submissions that come to us via the online nomination form will be accepted.

What's the deadline for nominations?

Monday, May 15, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Nominations will not be accepted after this date.

Can women who’ve been featured on the Women And Drones website be nominated?

YES! Featured interviews are open to any woman in the industry who wants to share their story in hopes of inspiring others. The “Women to Watch” is a separate process. It requires a submission of the nomination form. Finalists will be selected by the “Women to Watch 2017” committee.
