The city famous for baked beans and Fenway soon to be a drone destination
Talk about two ideal days in a drone lover’s life. You spend the first one watching some of the best drone videos from around the world, followed by a day of learning from industry experts on everything from aerial 3D mapping to camera settings and color grading for drone photography. The Boston Drone Film Festival (#BOSDFF) is promising all of that and more on November 15 and 16.
This inaugural event is described as “an international film festival that celebrates the creative pursuits and achievements of drone filmmakers, photographers and 360/VR creatives.” Awards will be presented to film makers in 14 different categories such as Landscape, Film Editing, Nature/Architecture Photography and Cinematic FPV. The prizes for each category are impressive, with the biggest winner receiving a ten day, all gear and inclusive travel package. Check out the full list Boston Film Festival Categories and Prizes. You still have time to enter your own drone masterpiece. Last call for submissions is October 7.
