Airspace Link recognized for being best in class for a company culture where women can thrive.
Michael Healander
CEO, Airspace Link

Airspace Link was founded in 2018 with a vision to create a world where the safe integration of drones fuels human progress, advancing social equity, the environment, and the economy.
Today, Airspace Link’s mission is to enable that safe integration into the national airspace and into communities at scale through digital infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership.
Just like ground transportation requires a system of roads and traffic signals to function safely, drone operators will require the same type of system in the sky to ensure their safety. The AirHub™ Platform provides the digital infrastructure or “maps in the sky” to help drone pilots, government and business stakeholders plan and optimize their operations while prioritizing safety. Built on top of the Esri platform with the addition of FAA and third-party data sets, think of the AirHub™ Platform as the Waze or Google Maps for drones.
The AirHub™ Platform is also one of the only FAA Approved UAS (drone) Service Suppliers for LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization Notification Capability) allowing both recreational and commercial pilots to submit for authorization to fly in controlled airspace. This allows pilots using the platform to fly both safely and compliantly.
“We are beyond honored to receive this award. Our team is the biggest asset that we have, and we understand the value diverse perspectives can bring. We’re proud that we’ve been able to attract and retain top and diverse talent. 60% of our leadership team members are women, well above the industry average, and we have incredible female team members on all teams in our organization. We’re dedicated to continuing our commitment to maintaining a culture that enables women to thrive and are incredibly grateful for our wonderful team. Thank you so much to Women & Drones for recognizing us in this important area.”
