Glenview, IL , September 09, 2020 – Elementary educator, FAA Certified Remote Pilot and Women To Watch in UAS Honoree Meghan Salter has joined the Women and Drones Advisory Board.

Salter is a public education teacher in Huntington, West Virginia and was recently named the 2021 Teacher of the Year for Cabell County Schools. She has been teaching special education since 2009 and is a National Board-Certified Teacher for Students with Exceptionalities.

“I am honored to represent educators who have a passion for integrating drone technology into the classroom. I’m looking forward to working with Women and Drones as an educational advisor for elementary, middle, and high school students,” said Salter. The West Virginia Department of Education recently named her one of five finalists for the statewide Teacher of the Year Award. The winner will be announced this fall.
