Neurodiversity Works
As the drone industry experiences unparalleled growth and expands into various sectors, the inclusion of diverse, innovative thinkers—particularly those who are neurodivergent—becomes paramount. However, navigating the professional world can pose challenges for neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences. Our unique cognitive processing can potentially be groundbreaking in industries hungry for innovation like the drone sector, yet societal and professional obstacles persist. Stark statistics shed light on the current scenario:
A staggering 40% of neurodivergent adults, encompassing those with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, and more, are unemployed—a rate threefold compared to the general disability population.
Despite education, 85% of autistic college graduates find themselves without employment.
Only a meager 4% of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives include disability as a focal point, even though neurodivergent individuals comprise an estimated 20-30% of the population.
Our programs are designed to help these individuals reach their full potential and succeed in the workforce by providing education, mentorship, field trips, workshops and summer camps. We have been approved as a CDLE Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Vendor AND our Registered Apprenticeship Program is approved by the US Department of Labor.
