This presentation shows the results of a collaborative art/science project. It demonstrates the use of new technologies such as drones and multispectral cameras used in a conservation project to search for a partner for a very rare forest cycad, Encephalartos woodii (Wood’s cycad). The presentation highlights the threats to cycad species and how new technologies may help to save the species.
