Sabine’s presentation will focus on the UAS security perspective. The brief will go into the current security landscape in the US, key regulatory authorities and their current capabilities, best practices for the critical infrastructure community and general public, and some regulatory considerations/developments that are on the horizon.
Speaker Bio:
Sabine Wakim is a Senior Consultant at Partner Forces. She is a Certified Schedules Contract Manager (CSCM) and performs a wide variety of services for clients including program strategy, stakeholder engagement and outreach, market research, policy analysis and product development and delivery. She supports a number of clients including the Department of Homeland Security where she acts as a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems subject matter expert and primarily focuses on preventing risk from emerging technologies. Sabine has over 13 years of public speaking experience and uses that experience regularly to develop and facilitate security briefings, workshops, tabletop exercises, and stakeholder outreach initiatives. Prior to becoming a consultant Sabine was a litigator and holds an active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
