About Jennifer Richter:
Jennifer L. Richter heads the Telecom, Media and Technology practice at Akin and represents a number of clients on UAS/advanced aviation/drone strategy, development and operation.
Jennifer has represented technology and communications companies and investors for more than three decades. She is ranked by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer and has been named a Super Lawyer multiple times. Jennifer was a voting member on the FAA’s ARC that studied and made recommendations to the FAA Administrator regarding technology to enable remote tracking and identification of UAS, and she worked as part of the FAA’s ARC on beyond visual line of sight flight for UAS. She is an active participant in NASA’s UTM working groups. She also served as subject matter expert on the FCC’s Technological Advisory Council on UAS and the Department of Homeland Security’s CIPAC that studied how to protect critical infrastructure from drones. Jennifer is active with industry, the FCC and the FAA on spectrum solutions for UAS.
